01THE CHALLENGE

Great service, but half the calls were never answered.

Rapid Tyre Rescue fits tyres roadside, mostly for people stranded with a flat at odd hours. That's a business where the sale happens in the first ring — but before Signal, over a third of inbound calls went unanswered, and the ones that got through often waited hours for a technician to be dispatched.

Calls going unanswered

34% of inbound calls were missed outright — mostly overnight and during peak weekend breakdown hours, with no fallback in place.

Slow dispatch after booking

Even answered calls took an average of 51 minutes to assign a technician, since jobs were allocated manually over the phone.

Coverage stuck at one town

Marketing was word-of-mouth only, so demand — and technicians — stayed concentrated in a single local area instead of the wider region.

02THE APPROACH

Fix the call, then fix the map.

Because this is an emergency service, the first fix had to be operational — stop losing calls — before any spend went into growing coverage into new towns.

Missed-call recovery, set up first

Every missed call now triggers an instant SMS with a booking link, plus a same-minute callback queue — so a missed ring stops meaning a lost job.

Location-based dispatch routing

Bookings now route straight to the nearest available technician automatically, replacing manual phone-based allocation and cutting dispatch time to minutes.

Local SEO and "near me" landing pages

Built individual location pages targeting "emergency tyre fitting near me" style searches across each new town, so each area could rank on its own.

Paid ads switched on once capacity existed

Only after the call-handling and dispatch fixes were live did we turn on local paid ads — so new demand had technicians ready to actually serve it.

03BEFORE & AFTER

What changed for Rapid Tyre Rescue, side by side.

Same service, same technicians on the road — the difference is what happened between a customer's flat tyre and a technician showing up.
